About Jay-Fest

Jay Fest 2009 is being organised to celebrate the life of Jason Fisher who passed away suddenly in 2008.  It is to celebrate the loves of Jason’s life: friends, live music, festivals and socialising.  Anyone who knew Jason would know that he truly lived life to the fullest, attending any festival or night out that he could.  His love for music and partying is why we are holding Jay Fest, so that his memory lives on, and his contagious energy is remembered.  It is being organised by his family and close friends in aid of Stoke Mandiville ITU as a thank you for the support  this department gave Jason and his family in his last days.

The family have already raised over £3000 pounds for the unit and have personally handed over £2500 for a machine the unit desperately needed and hope to continue to raise more for this fantastic unit that devoted so much time and energy trying to save Jason’s life.

Everyone is welcome to this event whether you knew him well or just knew of him.  We are hoping to raise as much money as possible as well as have a great day to commemorate him.  The day will include entertainment, food and beverages, as well as the opportunity to camp if need be. Any support given will be much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you there and making a great day of it.
